TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL
CAMPAIGN
1. 'Subject Line': This is the second line which will determine whether or not your customer will open your message. Try to avoid using "sales" lines or gimmicks. Make your subject lines fun and inviting. Over time try to stay with the same tag line so your customers are familiar with your campaign.
2. Your Message: Be aware that many of your customers, even though they have signed up to receive your messages have some type of spam filter on their computer systems. If possible, let them know so that they can adjust their email server to accept all messages from your company. This is the best way to assure they receive the campaigns.
There are several steps you can take when constructing your campaign
to help get your message through. Do not add any attachments. This
increases the size of your message which will trigger many filters
to not allow it to go to the inbox of your customer. You can easilty
host your attachment on your website and provide a link in your email
campaign.
